St. Hildegard says: "At night, rub this oil on your eyelids, but do so carefully to avoid touching the inside of your eyes, and it will drive away the darkness from them."

Violet Oil is an extract from violet flowers with the addition of olive oil, without any additional substances.

We produce violet oil according to the recommendations of Dr. Hertzka, following St. Hildegard’s guidelines. It is an extract from violet flowers prepared in hot olive oil. The delicate scent of violets is largely lost in the process.

St. Hildegard recommends violet oil for rubbing into the temples. According to her teachings, violet oil is an extract from violet flowers containing olive oil, without a distillation process, and therefore has no fragrance.

In cosmetics, violet oil from distillates is often used, which has a stronger scent but has nothing to do with St. Hildegard’s teachings.
