Cools. Calms. Restores.

There is a quiet intelligence in plants that grow close to the earth. Plantain - humble, resilient, and often overlooked - has long been used to soothe the skin after it has been disturbed. In the tradition of St. Hildegard of Bingen, this preparation is applied when the skin calls for cooling, calm, and restoration. A ritual of relief.

"If a person is stung or bitten by a spider or other insect, the bite should be immediately smeared with plantain juice, and the person will feel better."
More information: "Physica" by St. Hildegard of Bingen translated by Priscilla Throop
