Dried Rosehip Fruit

Enjoy the pleasantly tart, fruity flavor of rosehips in a simple, warming infusion. These dried rosehips are cut and sifted, with no additives or preservatives. Each package contains only pure rosehip fruit, carefully packed by hand. Rosehips are known for their naturally high vitamin C content.

Nearly one kilogram (2.2 lbs) of fresh rosehips is used to produce 100 grams (3.5 oz) of dried fruit.

From Poland’s Naturally Pristine Regions

Nature’s Gifts (Dary Natury), the producer of our newly introduced herbs, sources plant materials from organic growers in Poland, in regions of natural purity where the surrounding environment remains largely untouched by industrial development.

The herbs are carefully dried and kept in relatively large pieces to preserve as much of their natural goodness as possible. Keeping leaves, flowers, and other plant parts more intact helps protect their delicate aromatic compounds and essential oils, some of which can be lost when herbs are crushed or finely ground too early.

Rosehips in St. Hildegard’s Physica

“Someone who is healthy in body, yet sick in stomach only, should cook the fruit of the Tribulus, and eat it often. It will cleanse his stomach and take away the mucus. For one whose entire body is sick, it is not good to eat this cooked.”

— St. Hildegard of Bingen, Physica, excerpt from the supplied translation
